VEGGIE BURGERS Do you make a meatless burger that’s an alternative to a meaty
hamburger? How do you prepare it? Maybe it’s made with one or a combination of grated,
chopped, or mashed vegetables, such as sweet potatoes, onions, different types of beans,
nuts, grains, mushrooms, soy textured vegetable protein, and/or eggs plus lots of flavoring
ingredients. Or develop a veggie burger with mashed tofu or tempeh mixed with veggies and
herbs. Send us your recipe.
CEREAL COOKIES AND BARS Drop-cookie recipes that are full of cereal— the crushed
ready-to-eat kind, such as cornflakes, oat cereal, rice cereal, or graham cereal squares—
are some ideas to get you started. Perhaps dried fruit, nuts, and/or coconut are added
ingredients. Another idea is a no-bake cereal bar made with cereal other than familiar crisp
rice. More recipe ideas: frosted baked cereal bars with layers— or cookies that start with a
brownie mix or butterscotch dough, with cereal added.
